How the Daily works

Every day at 08:00 UTC a new Stickee Words board appears, and it is the same board for everyone. That is 1 am on the US west coast and 4 am on the east coast, so the puzzle changes overnight across the Americas, and nobody's evening game gets cut in half.
You get five minutes, no Help, and one go that counts. A restart is allowed, in case the first block went somewhere silly, but the first game you finish is the one that is filed, and you have thirty minutes from your first start to finish. Once filed, you can keep playing the same board as practice, which never changes your score.
Your browser never sends a score. It sends the moves you made, and the server replays them with the same rules to work out the score itself. That is why the board can be trusted even though it is open to anyone.
The Daily Leaders board shows the top 50 and your own line: your score, your rank, and the top percentage you landed in. Play on consecutive days and the game keeps your streak. After a Daily you can share a small card with your score, your percentile and your streak, and nothing about the board itself, since everyone else is still playing it.
Yesterday's board, and every board before it, lives in Game Archives: replay any day on the exact board everyone saw, see that day's top score, and watch the top ten games move by move.
Groups and boards

A group is a private board for friends, family or a classroom. Make one from My Account in the game, and it gets a six-letter code and an invite link. Anyone with the code can join; nobody else can see the board.
The group page shows today's Daily score for every member who played, a weekly total with days played and best day, and a Yesterday card where you can watch each other's games. Some Challenge Games also have a daily group round. You can be in up to three groups at once, and the owner can remove members or hand the group on.
The name shown beside your score on any board is the one you choose in the game, and every name passes a plain filter before it appears, so boards stay friendly.
What Stickee Studios is

Stickee Studios is a small game studio. Its first game is Stickee Words, a word puzzle where letter blocks fall and stack and you spell words to clear them. The games are free to play in a browser, on a phone or a computer, with no app to install.
This site is the studio's front door. Over the next few weeks it grows into a proper home for the games: one login that follows you from game to game, a sticker book of the things you have done, and more games alongside Stickee Words. If you make small browser games yourself and would like one of them here, the support page says how to get in touch.
